Job Description

Role Summary:

  • Implement all security controls and best practices for protecting the company's information technology infrastructure from security breaches, cyber threats, and unauthorized access.

Tasks and Responsibilities:

  • Security Infrastructure Management:
    - Implement, and maintain security measures for the organization's IT infrastructure, including firewalls, intrusion detection systems (IDS), intrusion prevention systems (IPS), anti-malware solutions, and encryption tools.
    - Perform vulnerability scans to identify and mitigate potential weaknesses in the network and applications.
    - Implement systems hardening as per the available hardening procedures.
    - Security components configuration.
    - Implement Access control rules and policies.
  • Incident Response and Management: Investigate security incidents, analyze the impact, and take appropriate actions to contain and mitigate the risks.
  • Network Security and Monitoring:
    - Implement and maintain secure network configurations, access controls, and authentication mechanisms.
    - Review network traffic and security logs to identify and respond to suspicious or unauthorized activities.
  • Security Research and Evaluation:
    - Stay up to date with the latest security threats, vulnerabilities, and industry best practices.
    - Evaluate and recommend security technologies, tools, and services to enhance the organization's security posture.

Education, Experience and Qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Cybersecurity, or a related field.
  • 5 to 8 Years of experience as an IT Security or in a similar role, demonstrating expertise in designing and implementing security solutions and systems.
  • Strong knowledge of cyber security principles, protocols, and industry standards.
  • Familiarity with network security, firewalls, IDS/IPS, endpoint protection, and other security technologies.
  • Experience with vulnerability assessment tools.
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment, handle multiple tasks, and prioritize security-related activities.
