Responsibilities:
- Responsible for the business vertical focused integrating backup power systems for residential and commercial customers. This includes:
- Inverters & battery systems.
- Solar power systems.
- Uninterruptible power systems (UPS).
- MPPT controllers.
- Expand the company's channel partners and reseller network across Nigeria.
- Increase the company’s customer base in the residential and commercial sectors (B2C/B2B channels).
- Manage profitability, revenue growth, brand awareness, sell-through, and customer satisfaction.
- Oversee product management which includes developing a roadmap to fill product gaps, address customer needs and fulfill business objectives.
- Control inventory turnover and demand planning.
Education, Experience and Qualifications:
- Electrical Engineer or similar with demonstrated experience in business development and sales in the solar energy industry.
- MBA is a plus.
- 7+ years of experience in a senior position.
- Ethical, technical and environmental approach to selling solar.
- Passion for solar energy and its business opportunities.
- Ability to effectively communicate the technical aspects of solar energy systems.
- A proven track record of accountability, results orientation, and team leadership.
- Excellent interpersonal, presentation and communication skills.
- Strong computer skills, including Microsoft Office programs.
